Fishers Landing is a small community on the St. Lawrence River, right next to Grass Point State Park. Residents here pride themselves on maintaining the community’s tight-knit feel, although visitors to the area are always welcomed with open arms.
A must-do for visitors to Fishers Landing is lunch at Foxy’s Restaurant. It’s easy to access the waterside restaurant, thanks to 225 feet of private dock space reserved for Foxy’s patrons. Whether you arrive by car or by water, you’ll enjoy the restaurant’s Italian-American menu.
Grass Point State Park is located on a stretch of land that projects into the American Channel of the St. Lawrence River. The park boasts some of the best fishing opportunities in the country (thus the name of the community).
Campers and day-users frequent the park for boating, fishing, picnicking, or swimming. A cottage is available along with tent and trailer campsites for overnight visitors. Park visitors may also enjoy the sandy beach, marina area, and boat launch. Young visitors will enjoy the games and shallow water along the beach.
Fishers Landing In a Day:
After breakfast swim and enjoy the sandy beach area. Pack a picnic and enjoy lunch along the boat dock before you launch and head out to catch some fish. After a long day in the sun, relax and enjoy dinner as you watch the sunset dockside at Foxy’s Restaurant.
